This contractor will be a member of Enterprise Services and Infrastructure team for CAP applications. This contractor's focus will be on managing CAP applications servers, lower environment support, Unix support coordination, DNS support coordination, H/W Monitoring, service monitoring, and 24/7 production support. Provide infrastructure and production support to Fannie Mae financial reporting applications. The system includes Solaris, Linux, Oracle, Abnitio and web applications. . Carry a pager and respond to it in a timely manner. Provide off-hour support as needed. . Strong UNIX knowledge. Experience in Linux and Solaris. . Working experience in UNIX shell and Perl scripting. . Knowledge of web services. HTTP, XML, Apache, JBoss, and Weblogic. . Sufficient knowledge of SQL commands. . Experience in system monitoring tools. . Develop and follow up Standard Operational Procedures. . Well developed written and verbal communication skills. . A team player. Need to work closely with other team members to provide around the clock operations support. . Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems or 6 years + of IT related working experience. . In-depth knowledge in Oracle database and applications. . Experience in system monitoring tools. . Experience in creating automation tools. . Trouble ticket system, like Remedy.
