• Create test plans, and execute test cases, document and publish results and achieve sign off
• Writing manual and automated test scripts to be used across the enterprise
• Testing in BMC¿s Action Request System and ITSM suite
• Work with Engineers, Technical Leads, and Managers to maintain the highest possible levels of quality
• Configure testing resources and tools to evaluate application functionality, integration, and performance
• Facilitate quality assurance objectives for the BMC project
• Requirements gathering & analysis to develop the process flow, business rules and functional rules that are used as benchmarks in the development process
• Provide staff with insight into quality activities and resource requirements
• Promote consistent use of terminology across the Groups within the SM Office
• Develop procedures, policies and systems to support QA efforts

Job Requirements

• Experienced with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), PDLC, Agile, Six Sigma or similar methodologies
• ITIL Framework experience, preferably with BMC suite of tools
• 2+ years as a software QA Tester/Engineer
• Knowledge of configure, upgrades, patches Installation of BMC Remedy ARS - Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Asset Management, and Service Level Management (SLM) a big plus
• Knowledge and experience with Testing Tool Suites
• Formal SQA methodologies including software development life cycles, testing processes
• Experienced in testing with Perl, C, C++, or Visual Basic.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
