Job Title: Data Warehouse SQL Developer/Analyst

Job Description:

The warehouse developer/analyst is responsible for analyzing data and developing SQL to transform the data as needed to meet the needs of the Data Warehouse users.

Must have experience with Regular Experession (REGEX) - any modern programming has this.

This is a hardcore SQL Developer / analyst.

They will be designing out SQL process that the ETL Developers have to do. Creating SQL - prototype testing and then turn over to ETL Developers.

Key Responsibilities:

· Participate in functional and technical design sessions with project team members and business users

· Translate business and functional requirements into a SQL code and scripts

· Contribute to the detailed estimation of development work

· Contribute new ideas to improve the design and functionality of the data warehouse

Qualifications:

· At least 4 years experience in Data Warehousing, especially in data analysis and transformation

· At least 4 years of experience on one or more of the following databases: Oracle, Tereadata, or Netezza

· At least 4 years of experience writing SQL and performance tuning using Explain Plan

· Experience with third normal form and dimensional designs

· Experience with Regular Expression (REGEX)

· Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to pick up new technologies quickly

· Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience

· Prior experience and functional knowledge about the Web Advertising industries and providing solution in Web industry based BI solutions

· Ability to work with other team members including Data Architects, ETL Developers, and QA members.

· Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills.

• these people need to have excellent communication skills. prefer greencards and EAD's, but will consider H1B's if they are very strong (and have good communication!)

NETEZZA experience is highly preferred
