Sr. VB.Net Developer

Location: San Antonio (Local candidates are preferred)

Pay Rate: Competitive

Duration: 12 months.

The position is primarily responsible for developing workflow and web-applications for Loan Service and other departments. The individual must be able to thoroughly design, code, and implement custom web-based applications in a smart and efficient manner. The Programmer may also need to work in a Mainframe environment. to validate updates done through the web applications- Troubleshoot, maintain, create, and develop web Applications and SQL databases used as back-ends for existing or newly created front-end software applications.- Leads work effort with internal customers to analyze and document information and needs. - Must also participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle with various other business units.- Develops and publishes complex end user queries, as needed.- Creates detailed procedural documentation and training materials.- Perform/coordinate initial troubleshooting and problem isolation for user and departmental hardware and software systems/problems. Assure that problems are escalated when required.- Identifies alternatives to traditional workflow methods and prepares recommendations .The position requires 4-6+ years experience in software design and development, utilizing .NET and SQL Server applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven working knowledge of business systems with emphasis on web application development. Strong programming background in a team environment.
