Java Developer.

6 month contract – Austin, TX.

Primary Responsibilities:

Design/implement components within existing Java EE application to address new business requirements
Transfer design knowledge of additions to Java EE application to existing team members
Define and manage the detailed implementation plan for specified work

Required Qualifications:

Four years minimum Java development experience
Two years Java EE application development experience (on any Java EE app server: WebLogic, Websphere, JBoss, etc.)
One year of Guidewire BillingCenter development experience (experience with ClaimCenter or PolicyCenter is also acceptable)
EJB development experience (session EJBs, message-driven EJBs, etc.)
ESB development experience (on any ESB product: JBoss ESB, Sonic, etc.)
JDBC development experience
Web application development experience
Struts / JSP development experience
Object oriented analysis and design experience
Familiar with Gang of Four design patterns
Basic UML knowledge
Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent
Five years minimum of programming and analysis experience

Additional Qualifications:

Web services development experience (SOAP, Axis)
Ant build experience with Java EE applications
Experience with JBoss, JMX, JAAS
Experience with an ORM framework such as Hibernate
Experience with JSF
Experience with MS SQL Server
Experience with C# and .NET
